Cleaner Nuzroul Islam Abdulkareem was denigrated earlier this week by an online troll who posted a picture of the man staring at gold with a caption that read, “This man only deserves to look at rubbish”.
As the image went viral, locals inundated the Bangladeshi with valuable gifts including a gold set and smartphones.

Saudi Abdullah al Qahtani, who owns the Ensaneyat Twitter account, started searching for the cleaner and urged his followers to help.

“More money is being sent to Nuzroul,” Qahtani told Al Arabiya . In addition to bags of rice and honey, Abdulkareem has so far received “two-way tickets to his home country, and two phones - one iPhone 7 and one Samsung Galaxy”, according to the news channel.

Ever since the picture was posted on social media, Saudis pledged to send more gifts to Abdulkareem, including one who said a gift of $533 (SR2,000) would be given to the cleaner.
“I am very thankful,” Abdulkareem, described as a “very hardworking” individual by Qahtani, said.
