The petitioner’s lawyer said the objection raised from the registrar’s office was unjustified and requested the judge, Justice Shams Mahmood Mirza, to overrule the objection and admit the petition for hearing.
The judge accepted the plea and directed the office to fix the hearing of the petition before an appropriate bench. In his petition, Faisal Naseer has alleged that corruption was rampant in all government institutes and incompetent people had been recruited in all departments.He was also of the view that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharid were involved in corruption and must hence be disqualified.
