Your Stars Today

Aries | March 20 – April 18

Others may insist current plans are final. From a practical perspective, they might be. Still, keep in mind that not only does your ruler Mars move into a new sign on the 19th, the communication planet Mercury goes retrograde on the same day, which indicates changes as dramatic as they are unexpected.

Taurus | April 19 – May 19

As an earth sign, you’ve an instinctive understanding of the importance of life’s practical realities. Yet you so dislike the idea of certain changes that you refuse even to think about them. Even if you have to force yourself, explore these. What you learn will transform your mood and thinking.

Gemini | May 20 – June 19

By no means are you narrow minded. But even you, at your most inquisitive, won’t have heard about or be aware of the ideas somebody is now encouraging you to explore. Learn what you can from these, first ensuring those who’ve introduced you to them understand you’re making no commitment.

Cancer | June 20 – July 21

The Full Moon may be next week, in a way, it’s a rehearsal for the Cancer Full Moon in mid-January. Although it’s some time from now, it’s worth meditating on what works and what doesn’t. This both allows you to reflect and, as important, is preparing you for the exciting developments then.

Leo | July 22 – August 21

After a period of far too much discussion and too many changes in what should be simple plans, you’re relieved that arrangements are being finalised. Or so it seems. Actually, judging by the potent aspects between your ruler the Sun and both Saturn and Uranus, there are yet more changes to come.

Virgo | August 22 – September 21

As a reasonable Virgo, you’re always happy to talk over either confusing issues or situations that upset others. And, as always, your objective is to seek a solution. Not everybody thinks that way, including one particularly difficult individual. Their objective is to complain, no more. Let them do exactly that.

Libra | September 22 – October 21

While you aren’t exactly thrilled with certain arrangements, you tell yourself that at least they’re settled, so off you mind. That may be the case now, but judging by Saturday’s link between the Sun and practical Saturn, the odds are good you’ll be able to reorganise these, and properly.

Scorpio | October 22 – November 20

As a Scorpio, you’re a master of subtlety. Where others will act too swiftly or say too much, you’ve a remarkable sense of timing. Yet this can mean that you don’t always trust your instincts, especially if they involve taking fast action. Keep this in mind, especially during this fast-moving week.

Sagittarius | November 21 – December 20

Fortunately, you’ve a knack for bouncing back from even serious obstacles. But now you’re taking others’ suggestions to heart. That’s wise. Between now and Saturday’s link between the Sun and the practical Saturn, in Sagittarius, you’ll turn these ideas into action. The result will be nothing short of miraculous.

Capricorn | December 21 – January 19

Having watched others waste time in pointless arguments, you long ago learnt to sidestep clashes that are more about ego than actual situations. Yet one particular individual is so irritating you’re tempted to say exactly what you think about them. Don’t. Once you learn certain crucial facts, you’ll be far more patient.

Aquarius | January 20 – February 18

The time has come to take a tough line with somebody whose manner seems cooperative but who, when you look back on events, is a genuine troublemaker. Forget about discussing this. They’re unconscious their actions cause such problems. Simply tell them what they can, and cannot, do. End of discussion.

Pisces | February 19 – March 19

Sticking with your vision requires faith in yourself. That’s a given. But it also demands that you find a way to explain, and then justify, that vision to those who aren’t nearly as imaginative as you are. This won’t be easy. However, you’ve done it before and, with some thought and effort, will again.
