By the looks of it, Shah Rukh and Salman had a ball at the event as they engaged in light-hearted banter with the audience. However, rumours are abuzz that Shah Rukh left the ceremony midway, MissKyra reported.

Karan Johar had initially announced that the duo would be performing the closing act together. Alas, this was not to be with Shah Rukh leaving the ceremony midway.
It has been speculated that SRK was offended by something and stormed out of the venue after shooting his segment with Salman, leaving the latter perplexed.

Later, Shah Rukh cleared the air by posting a picture of his Raees crew on Twitter.

King Khan mentioned that he was shooting for Raees when the crew had surprised him with a cute present.
Earlier at the same event, SRK and Salman had renewed their friendship by joking about their past rivalry and declared that they were like brothers.
