The event, organised by Old Students Association of FAST-NU (OSAF), aimed to connect the alumni of the university. The alumni of previous batches working in different companies also attended the dinner and shared their experiences with their university fellows. The annual event has been hosted since 2004.
OSAF Board Member Burhan Rasool told The Express Tribune the annual event aimed at starting a process of engagement, communication and collaboration with the alumni of FASTR-NU.
“We want to make our institution one of the top-tier institutions of the world like MIT or Stanford and that can only be achieved with an inclusive approach,” he said. “We want to give back to the country and homecoming is a part of that.”
