Conference call Workshop on internet governance at VU

LAHORE: A four-day workshop on internet governance will start at the Virtual University of Pakistan today (Saturday). The purpose of this workshop is to introduce internet governance as a professional course.

This workshop, given the title of ‘Pakistan School of Internet Governance 2016’ (PKSIG), is to be held at the Virtual University’s MA Jinnah Campus Lahore and will end on November 29. Pakistan School of Internet Governance 2016 has been initiated by the Pakistan School of Internet Governance in collaboration with the Higher Education Commission (HEC) and Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA).

Domain experts have been invited to provide details of the Internet ecosystem, Internet public policy, national laws and cross-border jurisdiction, gender, mobile Internet and the digital economy.
