LAHORE: A judicial magistrate sent four suspects to jail on 14-day remand over their alleged involvement in gambling. Gulberg police produced the men before the magisterial court, where their counsel contended the suspects were innocent and were implicated in a fake case to humiliate and blackmail them. The police argued the men were caught red-handed while gambling inside a house. After hearing the arguments, the judge sent the suspects on remand.
