Red carpet round-up: High fashion arrives at the AMAs

LAHORE: The 44th Annual American Music Awards (AMAs) took place at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on November 20, 2016 and what a night it was! While Ariana Grande, Justin Bieber and Rihanna took away the music industry’s biggest trophies, the red carpet had its own winners. Gigi Hadid and Nina Dobrev, in particular, came forth in two of the winning looks of the night.

As the host of the night, the supermodel did not disappoint. Hadid was a vision in white on the red carpet, wearing a sheer white lace Roberto Cavalli dress that showed off her incredible body and a sparkly choker. She paired the neckpiece with a slicked-back ‘do and pink lips and perfectly combined two of the year’s hottest trends — chokers and bright lips!

Dobrev brought her fashion A-game to the AMAs which was great because she usually plays it safe. The Vampire Diaries starlet took on the red carpet wearing a Zuhair Murad black and silver studded blazer over a black corset, paired with matching black and silver studded shorts. She paired it with black pumps and chose to play up her look with a statement addition: the silver cornrows in her hair!
