Pakistani fashion designer Manahil Qureshi Nimsay has launched a new collection Altogether Now using five models of different body sizes and complexions to prove that there is beauty in diversity.
With this, the designer aspires to promote dark-skinned beauty and all body types that are often looked down upon in Pakistan.

Speaking to The Express Tribune, Nimsay shed light on the varying concept of diversity, in Pakistan and the world over.
"In the West, most people view diversity as a good thing because it gives people the chance to experience different things outside of what they are normally accustomed to. Unfortunately, it's not the same for our society," the designer said.
Nimsay revealed that she aimed to challenge time-honoured social concerns premised on body types. " We judge things we are not accustomed to. We make ignorant decisions that cause harm. Harm to young girls whose main concern shouldn't be what size they are or what shade their complexion is," she said.

Nimsay claimed that body shaming was a product of our people’s mindset.“I think it's the people. People have this mindset that they can't seem to come out of. The mindset that only certain characteristics are pretty and those that don't fit are just not good enough. It's causing so much harm and depression in girls that nobody even realises it,” she said.
With her collection, the designer aims to further the message that beauty comes in all shapes, sizes and colours.
