Late night ambush: Two Levies officials killed in check post attack

SHABQADAR: Two Levies Force officials were killed in an attack on a check post at the Khanqa mines on Sunday night, officials said.

According to them, unknown miscreants attacked the checkpost, presumably in connection with a local dispute concerning the mines. Although the miscreants were repulsed, Levies officials Zakir and Masood Shah were wounded in the ambush and later succumbed to their injuries.
