RAWALPINDI/ ISLAMABAD: All traffic wardens and field officers have been directed to take strict action against double parking and other illegal parking which create hurdles in the smooth flow of traffic. According to Acting Chief Traffic Officer (ACTO) Yousaf Ali Shahid, field officers had been directed to take strict action in accordance with the law against double parking, wrong parking and one-way violators, particularly in congested areas. He said the traffic load on Murree Road and other link roads had increased recently due to Road carpeting work on Rawal Road and the signal-free corridor project on Airport Road near Gulzar-e-Quaid, Koral Chowk. He said lifters will be used to remove and impound illegally parked cars and motorcycles.
