Unfortunate event: Man kills self by consuming poison

BAHAWALPUR: A 20-year-old man reportedly committed suicide by consuming a large number of poisonous tablets at his house in Chak 7P late on Monday night. Police said he wanted his parents to buy him a motorcycle but they refused. In a fit of anger, he consumed poisonous tablets. When his condition started deteriorating, his parents took him to Shikh Zayed Hospital in Rahim Yar Khan where he was provided treatment but could not survive as poison had spread throughout his body, they added.
