Settling scores: Chaudhry Nisar is very non-serious: Chandio

HYDERABAD: Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar's derisive comments against Pakistan Peoples Party chairperson Bilawal Bhutto Zardari drew a matching response from the Sindh government's spokesperson on Saturday. The chief minister's information adviser, Maula Bux Chandio, said that Nisar is the only interior minister of a nuclear country who is very non-serious about national security issues.

"Nisar wanted to become the prime minister. But his dream [stands shattered] and he is worried that’s why Imran Khan's pressure has been decreasing," he said. He retorted to Nisar's criticism on Bilawal for being too young to lead a mainstream political party by pointing out that Bilawal's grandfather, Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, and mother, Benazir Bhutto, were also young when they stepped in politics. "Both of them are respected as great leaders," he said, adding that Bilawal will also make a similar mark through his leadership in history.
