ISLAMABAD: In line with its efforts to strengthen the capital market and as part of subsidiary legislation under the Securities Act, 2015, and the Futures Market Act, 2016, the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) has drafted the Securities and Futures Advisers (Licensing and Operations) Regulations, 2016. The draft regulations provide for matters relating to licensing, financial resources, duties and obligations, conduct, and audit and accounts for persons providing investment advice or recommendation to customers on securities and futures contracts.
