Week-On-Week: SPI falls 0.25% 

The SPI for the lowest income group also fell 0.24% compared to the previous week

ISLAMABAD: The Sensitive Price Indicator (SPI) for the week ended November 10, 2016 registered a fall of 0.25% for the combined income group, going down from 221.00 points in the previous week to 220.45 in the week under review. Compared to the corresponding week of last year, the SPI for the combined income group rose 0.32%. The SPI for the lowest income group also fell 0.24% compared to the previous week. The index for the group stood at 212.24 points against 212.74 in the previous week, according to provisional figures released by the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics. During the week, average prices of 12 items rose in a selected basket of goods, prices of 9 items fell and rates of remaining 32 goods recorded no change.
