Deepika Padukone is known for her bold and different avatars during her acting career which she has nailed it each time. However, her new look for an upcoming film titled Deepika Padukone: Quintessential desi girl will leave you surprised.

The Bollywood diva who is named the face of Hollywood's next generation has undergone a shocking transformation for the project as is seen in a desi avatar.



The pictures taken on set show Deepika at a Dhobi Ghat in Mumbai.

The actor is unrecognisable as she is seen working in a kameez shalwar looking disheveled.

The film directed by  Iranian director Majid Majidi will be shot in several parts of India, including Mumbai, Delhi and some parts of Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan and Kashmir. It is a new take on relationships and emotional quotients.

The 30-year-old actor is set to make a high-profile debut alongside Vin Diesel in upcoming film xXx: The Return of Xander Cage.



After this de-glam look, we can't wait for Deepika's flaming hot royal avatar in the upcoming film Padmavati opposite Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor.
