BankIslami, Ria sign agreement

KARACHI: BankIslami Pakistan Limited and Ria Money Transfer, the third largest money transfer company in the world, have partnered to offer money transfer pay-out services in Pakistan through BankIslami’s 317 branches across 93 cities. This agreement allows customers from all over the world to send money to their beneficiaries in Pakistan through BankIslami, with greater convenience for their family and friends. Beneficiaries can now collect cash in minutes from BankIslami branches across Pakistan without the need for an account, while account holders can also receive funds directly to their account. BankIslami CEO Hasan A Bilgrami said, “BankIslami will provide beneficiaries of Ria with easy collection of remittances.” Ria Money Transfer CEO and President Juan Bianchi said, “With BankIslami, we’re able to serve more people looking for a convenient and reliable remittance service.”
