High-rise buildings should be designed in a way that they do not pose a threat to human life, said the chancellor of Sir Syed University of Engineering and Technology (SSUET), Javed Anwar. He was speaking as the chief guest at a seminar organised by the varsity and the Association of Consulting Engineers, Pakistan, on the impact of high-rise buildings on Monday. According to him, building high-rise structures carries a huge risk.
