Fawad Khan became one of the most sought after actors in Bollywood after his first big break in Kapoor and Sons. Rumors are abuzz in B-Town that he was offered a role alongside Amitabh Bachchan in Sarkar 2.

Ram Gopal Varma was keen to give the role of Subhash Nagre' (played by Amitabh Bachchan) grandson in Sarkar 3 to Fawad, reports Midday.

He apparently reached out to him and Fawad gave him a verbal commitment too. But because of rising tensions between India and Pakistan, RGV dropped the idea to cast the actor.
This role has reportedly been replaced by Sultan actor Amit Sadh.
