ISLAMABAD: A judicial magistrate on Saturday rejected bail applications of a man and two of his sons who had been arrested for allegedly beating up a court bailiff.

Muhammad Eitibar, Muhammad Iftikhar Raza and Muhammad Bilal had been arrested by Karachi Company police after they obstructed and beat up a court official in Sector G-9 on October 30.

Muhammad Ishfaq, the bailiff, had taken a man to meet his children in a family case in Sector G-9 where he was accosted and severely beaten up by the suspects.

Ishfaq sustained injuries and a case against the trio was registered based on a medical report of Pims.
