Man kills brother, children over land dispute

Knife used in killings, bodies later disposed off in nearby canal.

SHEIKHUPURA: A man killed his brother and four children over a land dispute in Sheikhupura on Tuesday.

The two brothers had been quarrelling over the issue since last night, the police had been informed, but failed to arrive to take action.

District Police Officer (DPO) Sheikhupura said the accused had used a knife in the killings and later disposed off the bodies in a nearby canal.

The body of the brother has been recovered, while divers have been called in to help search for the bodies of the four children.
