LAHORE: Hamza Shahbaz called on Punjab Governor Rafique Rajwana on Thursday to discuss the ongoing development projects in southern Punjab and the upcoming local government elections to elect mayors. During the meeting at the Governor House, the politicians also discussed the emerging political situation in the wake of recent developments. Governor Rajwana said politicians should not play with the fate of the nation and avoid taking any steps that may derail the country from the road to progress. He said the ruling PML-N had always accepted court decisions and other political parties should do the same. Hamza said the nation had rejected the politics of agitation while referring to the PTI’s protest campaign which was called off at the last moment.
