RAWALPINDI: Most of the cell phones issued to dengue awareness teams by the provincial government have disappeared, sources said on Thursday. Dengue larvae detection and awareness teams, constituted from employees of the health and education departments, were issued 400 cell phones for field duties. However, sources said, “380 out of these 400 mobile phone sets have disappeared mysteriously.” Senior officials of the said departments received the cell phones, sources confirmed. They added the teams were yet to receive the sets which were paid for by the provincial government.
