Over 1,000 employees of K-P NADRA to be regularised

Federal government approves recommendation of NADRA to regularise 4,000 of its employees nationwide by March 31.

PESHAWAR: The federal government has approved the recommendation of National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) to regularise 4,000 of its employees nationwide by March 31. Out of the 4,000 contract employees in question, more than 1,000 belong to Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa.

A federal committee constituted to decide on the resolution of the issue released directives to provide permanent jobs to all employees who qualify for them on merit basis. The committee visited Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, Sindh, Balochistan and Fata to review the performance of contract employees and submitted its report to the Interior Ministry.

The Committee recommended the Ministry provide permanent job to all employees who have been working on contract for the last
four years.

These employees will be promoted between one and three grades.
