ISLAMABAD: All Pakistan Liquefied Petroleum Gas Distributors Association (LPGDA) Chairman Irfan Khokhar on Wednesday appreciated the government for approving the establishment of LPG-air mix plants in different parts of the country. He expressed confidence that LPG plants would help bridge the increasing gap between demand and supply of natural gas as Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) and Sui Southern Gas Company Limited (SSGCL) would inject the LPG-air mix gas in their respective transmission lines. The Economic Coordination Committee of the Cabinet (ECC) has recently approved a proposal of the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Resources for setting up LPG-air mix plants at Murree (Kurbagla, Dewal, Company Bagh and Tret), Awaran and Bella at an estimated cost of Rs1353.29 million.
