ABBOTTABAD: A man accused relatives of an Abbottabad superintendent of police of attacking and injuring him after a minor altercation. Naqash Afsar told police that while passing through the Link Road, he narrowly escaped colliding with another car. The passengers of the other car, later identified as son of SP Irshad, whacked him on the head with an iron rod. According to Naqash, the blow fractured a bone above the left eyebrow. He lodged a complaint with the local police station, but the FIR was yet to be registered.
