Innoculation: Pindi polio vaccination target met, says EDO 

Arshad informed that 1,951 mobile health teams participated in the drive to complete immunisation work in the district

RAWALPINDI: Senior health official in Rawalpindi claimed on Friday to have achieved polio the vaccination target set for the district under a five-day drive which concluded on October 28. Talking to APP, Executive District Officer (EDO) Health Dr Arshad Ali Sabir said over 811,708 children under five-years of age were administered anti-polio drops during the campaign. Arshad informed that 1,951 mobile health teams participated in the drive to complete immunisation work in the district. The EDO said that he personally monitored the campaign and visited various areas to inspect the work of polio teams.
