Maritime collaboration: Naval chief visits Turkish ship

Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Muhammad Zakaullah visited Turkish navy ship TCG Buyukada, presently on a goodwill visit to the port city, on Friday. During his visit onboard, Zakaullah held a detailed discussion on professional matters with the Turkish mission commander and appreciated the operational competence of the Turkish navy. “Pak-Turk friendship is highly valued and the strong momentum of cooperation between them has always proved to be a source of strength for both countries,” said Zakaullah, according to a statement. The Naval chief interacted with the officers and crew onboard TCG Buyukada. The naval chief was also briefed about the details of the joint exercises to be conducted by the Pakistan Navy and the visiting Turkish ship out at sea.
