District Coordination Officer Nadir Chattha said this while presiding over a meeting of education committee members at DCO office in Multan.
He said new classrooms will be constructed in more than 1400 schools, while work was also being carried out on construction of washrooms.
He added furniture of the classrooms will also be replaced with new one.
Nadir maintained, “We have changed the syllabus to minimise the gap between public and private schools. Students of government schools will now receive education more on the pattern of private schools.”
He warned that strict legal action would be taken against those teachers who remained absent from duty.
