Monitoring system: ‘MES key to help NAB take decisions’  

During the meeting, chairman’s advisor on monitoring and evaluation gave a detailed presentation about it

ISLAMABAD: National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Chairman Qamar Zaman Chaudhry chaired a meeting to review latest progress on NAB’s Monitoring and Evaluation System (MES) at the body’s headquarters on Monday. During the meeting, chairman’s advisor on monitoring and evaluation gave a detailed presentation on MES’ working. He said that following directions from Chaudhry, NAB had developed an effective MES which was catering to the needs of the accountability body. Chaudhry said that MES is important and has measurable impact on expected outcomes and for developing objective conclusions. He said that MES will help identify and efficiently use resources. He added that MES provides data necessary for helping make decisions, strategise, improve performance and achieving results. The NAB chairman said that NAB is committed to performing its national duty with absolute professionalism, transparency and on merit. He directed all regional bureaus of NAB to conduct investigations as per the established SOPs.
