Pervez Khattak directs provincial government departments to chalk out solar conversion plan
PESHAWAR:
Heads of various government entities were directed to chalk out a plan to convert their departments to solar power to meet growing energy demand by Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) Chief Minister Pervez Khattak on Monday.
Presiding over a meeting at Chief Minister’s Secretariat here, he directed Public Health Engineering, Irrigation, Health, Education, Industries and some other departments to chalk out solar conversion plan as per their use of energy and submit it along with recommendations for implementation, a press release issued here said.
In the meeting, Saudi Arabia’s Digital World International Company Chief Executive Nadal Taif gave a presentation to the Chief Minister on solar conversion plan. He presented various recommendations for conversion to solar power in K-P.
