Pakistani forces gave a befitting response to the firing, says ISPR

At least one civilian was injured in unprovoked firing by the Indian BSF at the working boundary in Chuprar and Harpal sectors.

Pakistani forces gave a befitting response to the firing, a statement issued by the ISPR stated late on Sunday.



The military’s media wing said that the exchange of fire continued between the two forces.

Foreign Office Spokesperson Nafees Zakaria took to micro-blogging website to condemn the unproved firing by the Indian forces.



“Ceasefire violation committed by India at Working Boundary sectors Harpal and Charwa. Civilians targeted,” he tweeted.

He further said that heating up of the working boundary and Line of Control by India was endangering peace.
