Review: Media houses security to be beefed
SSP Kiani said that all police officials have been directed to review security arrangements around
ISLAMABAD:
Police have reviewed security around media outlets and held discussions with their representatives to further improve it. On directions from Senior Superintendent of Police Operations Sajid Kiani, SP Sheikh Zubair visited various media houses and inspected the security arrangements there. Separately, SSP Kiani directed that all SDPOs and SHOs should monitor security in their respective areas and keep checks on their subordinates. He also directed them to ensure coordination with other police wings including Special Branch and to share information with them. SSP Kiani said that all police officials have been directed to review security arrangements around media outlets and to take steps for elaborate security at media houses.
