MIRPUR: Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) is set to celebrate the 69th founding day of the AJK government on October 24 with zeal and fervour and the renewal of the pledge to continue Kashmir’s freedom struggle till its logical end.
Special ceremonies will be held in all 10 districts of the region, AJK PM’s spokesperson Raja Wasim said on Wednesday.
Wasim said the day will dawn with special prayers for the early success of Kashmir freedom movement, as well as for the strength and prosperity of Pakistan.
Rallies will be held in various parts of AJK, while speakers will highlight the historic importance of the day at seminars across the region, he said.
Since the Kashmiris struggle for freedom in occupied Jammu and Kashmir is at a new high, AJK has given special importance to programmes planned to highlight the issue.
