Old enmity: Three of a family slain in Quetta

QUETTA: Three members of a family were killed and two women injured over an old enmity in the Nawa Killi area of Quetta on Sunday. The dead included two women.

According to police, unidentified men opened fire on the family members after entering FC head constable Azizullah’s house in Safar Colony. As a result of the firing three people were killed on the spot.

The police after receiving information about the firing reached the site and cordoned off the area. The deceased and the injured were shifted to civil hospital Quetta.

One of the deceased was identified as Masood Khan. The victims hail from Khyber-Pakhtunkhawa.

Police believe the killing was sparked by an old enmity. One of the injured women identified the attackers after the police questioned her.

An investigation has been initiated to apprehend the culprit.
