Backstreet's back, alright!
"[The Backstreet Boys] did not approve this and we are not associated with the Trump camp," a rep for the group told The Daily Beast.
This scenario has played out multiple times: The Rolling Stones, Neil Young, R.E.M., Steven Tyler, Adele, Queen's Brian May and Jack White have all protested when Trump included their music as the soundtrack for campaign events.
Last Week Tonight With John Oliver got Usher, Cyndi Lauper, Josh Groban, Sheryl Crow and more together to create a song about why candidates should not play their music at rallies.
Melania Trump threatens People Magazine with lawsuit
Mick Jagger seems to think otherwise. He feels that candidates have the liberty to play whatever they like without any permission. "The thing is, when you appear in America, if you're in a public place, like Madison Square Garden, or a theatre, you can play any music you want and you can't be stopped. You can't stop them, they can play what they want." Jagger explained during a recent Twitter Q&A session.
Many BSB fans took to Twitter in sheer disappointment.
