Says Indian aggression only strengthening freedom struggle in held Kashmir

MIRPUR: AJK Prime Minister, Raja Farooq Haider, said on Thursday the political forces in Azad Kashmir and Pakistan are united and unanimous on the cause of Kashmir.

He was addressing the inaugural session of All Parties Kashmir Conference (APKC) at a local hotel.

Leader of the Opposition in AJK Legislative Assembly Chaudhry Muhammad Yasin, Ex-PM of AJK  Chaudhry Abdul Majeed, All Jammu and Kashmir Muslim Conference President Sardar Attiq Ahmed Khan, Jamaat-e-Islami Chief Abdul Rasheed Turabi, Justice (retd) Abdul Majeed Malik, PTI leader Khawaja Farooq Ahmed, Hurriyat leaders Ghulam Muhammad Saffi, Mir Tahir Masood ,ex-president of AJK Sardar, Muhammad Anwar, addressed the conference.

Regarding the ensuing  struggle in occupied Kashmir, PM Haider said that the Indian repression will further strengthen the spirit of freedom in the Kashmiris.

He said India fabricated the story of surgical strikes in utter despair after voices of concern over human rights violations in occupied Kashmir were raised from different parts of the world.

Haider, lauded the role of Pakistani government, armed forces, media and civil society in highlighting the Kashmir issue.

He said that the Kashmiri freedom movement would not be suppressed by Indian brutalities anymore. Kashmiri political leadership is untied against Indian occupation. People of Jammu and Kashmir would continue their struggle for right to self-determination in accordance with United Nations resolutions till it is achieved.

“The people, government, political parties and the armed forces of Pakistan are firmly united in supporting the Kashmiris’ right to self-determination, as guaranteed to them in the UN charter,” PM said.

He lauded the bravery and unwavering commitment of the armed forces of Pakistan for their befitting response to Indian aggression. “We reject ludicrous Indian claims of carrying out surgical strikes across the LoC, as blatantly false and brazen attempts at diverting international attention away from its atrocities in IoK,” he said.
