Bar petitions against detention

Baloch Bar Association approaches the BHC against the arrest of an advocate Agha Nadir Shah.

QUETTA: The Baloch Bar Association (BBA) approached the Balochistan High Court (BHC) against the arrest of an advocate Agha Nadir Shah.

Deputy organiser of the bar Mir Shaihaq Baloch filed a petition in the BHC, stating that FC and police officials raided Shah’s residence at Killi Sheikh Hussieni in Spiny Road, Quetta, late Monday night and forcibly whisked him away. He demanded the BHC to direct official respondents to produce the detainee in the court.
