Fawad will not promote KJo's Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, reports say

The promotions will be led by Ranbir, Anushka

Karan Johar's directorial venture Ae Dil Hai Mushkil featuring Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Fawad Khan is slated to release in October. Sources have now confirmed that Fawad will not be promoting the film.



“We are grateful to our fans for their love and support for the trailer, songs and music. We definitely have plans to promote the film. We will be doing events and going on reality shows,” Indian Express reports sources as saying.

Post Uri, Pakistani actors have been banned from working in Bollywood and the release of Ae Dil Hai Mushkil is still under question. However, Karan Johar and Ranbir Kapoor have expressed support for Fawad amid all the hulabaloo.



The promotions of the film will be led by Anushka and Ranbir. “We are waiting for Anushka and Ranbir to kickstart the promotions as they are busy with their prior commitments. They will be there to promote the film from mid October," sources said.

Aishwarya and Karan will also promote the film. "Fawad is having a special appearance so he won’t be promoting the film,” reports said.
