ABBOTTABAD:
A new law on right to services would help provide fundamental rights to the public in addition to holding the government answerable. This was stated by Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Chief Commissioner for Right to Services (RTS) Azmat Hanif Aurakzai while addressing a seminar on the recently enacted law. “The law has made government officials duty bound to ensure timely provision of services to citizens,” Aurakzai said. The event had been arranged by members of Tehsil and District Councils of Abbottabad on Thursday. Aurakzai further urged participants of the seminar to educate citizens about the importance of the RTS law so that people can benefit from the automated system of getting access to services. “The PTI government has fulfilled its promise of bringing change by enacting the right to services law,” Aurakzai said.
