Domestic Dispute: Man strangles wife to death

LAHORE: A young woman was strangled to death by her husband in Hair Village on Saturday. Police have registered a murder case against the prime suspect on the complaint of the victim’s mother. The woman identified as Sana, 23, was married a few years ago to Mazhar, who works as an automobile mechanic. The marital relationship, however, ran into trouble and the couple used to often quarrel, police said. On Saturday as well, the couple were having an argument when the man strangled his wife. The man later surrendered at the police station. Police have shifted the body to a morgue and collected forensic evidence from the crime scene.
