Army chief confers Army Public School System students with academic excellence awards
Army chief General Raheel Sharif said on Wednesday that the younger generation was blessed with enormous potential.
General Raheel made the remarks at an award ceremony organised to felicitate Army Public Schools and Colleges System students at the the GHQ Auditorium. The COAS said the young were true guarantors of a bright, prosperous and safe Pakistan.
“I have no doubt that the future generation of Pakistan will take this country to its zenith through their hard work, dedication and passion,” General Raheel remarked. The Army chief said (the nation's) educational institutions must lay greater emphasis on students' character building.

General Raheel presented academic excellence awards to students who distinguished themselves in SSC and HSSC exams of the Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education. The Army chief congratulated the students, their parents and teachers for achieving outstanding results.

He observed that the APSACS was a leading education network encompassing 183 institutions nationwide. General Raheel said it was imparting quality education to nearly 0.2 million from various strata of the society. A large number of students, parents and teachers were present on the occasion.
