The head stylist behind various campaigns and social media coordinator at Daraz.pk, breaks down her personal style. Learn all your styling tips and tricks from this industry insider — even a lesson on what not to wear

Understanding your body is the key to looking good and a trait found amongst all impeccably dressed fashionistas. While people shy away from talking about their bodies, these brave souls explain how they work their anatomies to their advantage

How would you describe your body type?

I would describe myself as someone with a straight body type.

Has your body type changed over the last five years?

My body hasn’t really changed over time. I have always been slim. I guess not having a sweet tooth has really helped.

How has your style changed over the years?

I can’t say my style has changed very much, as I’m not extremely experimental when it comes to fashion. I have incorporated certain trends in my attire, however I like to maintain my personal style.

How do you dress your body according to your body type?

I prefer to dress in outfits that focus on my waist and legs. I feel my arms are too skinny, and so I generally try to hide them.

In your opinion what is your most troublesome area?

My arms, they are disproportionately skinny.

In your opinion what is the biggest mistake a person can make while dressing here?

People need to follow trends only if they suit their body type and/or their personality. In my opinion, not every fashion trend should be followed blindly.

Which silhouettes suit your body the most?

I love high-waisted bottoms as I have long, sleek legs and a narrow waist.

What is the one piece of clothing that you shy away from wearing and why?

Bodycon dresses! I still feel like I need to work on my body a bit more to be able to wear something so tight.
