Call for freedom: Sikh leader seeks Pakistan’s help

LAHORE: Sikh separatist leader Amarjeet Singh has appealed to Pakistan to help create a separate Sikh state in the region. According to Express News, Singh in an interview asked Pakistan to provide diplomatic support to the Sikh community in its struggle to get rid of Indian ‘state terrorism’.

To a question about September 18 attack on Indian forces in Uri area of held Kashmir, he said the Indian government was blaming Pakistan to cover up its state terrorism. “Why would Pakistan attack Indian forces, when the freedom struggle in Kashmir is getting stronger?” he asked.

np | 8 years ago | Reply @divergence: "Indira Gandhi’s historic massacre of sikhs in India" Actually that massacre (which should not be justified) was in response to Indira's assassination by her Sikh bodyguard. @Ch: "Pakistan should openly support khalistan .Sikhs are living all over the world but they have no identity .Khalistan is their identity and Sikhs should fight for their rights " Well, except that most recently India had a Sikh PM and a Sikh COAS.
