
Its formal launching ceremony, according to the author, is scheduled for September 30, at Akadmi Adbeeyat, Islamabad. Former minister of state for finance Omar Ayub Khan is expected to be the guest of honour on the occasion.
The 173-page book has been published by Inhiraf Publications Islamabad, and comprises a hamd, two naats, 76 ghazals, 13 poems and 17 couplets. Like most Urdu poets, he delves deeply on the topic of love, and separation, but he also discusses life’s daily grind.
