Fatal Attack: Security guard shot by robbers dies

LAHORE:
An elderly security guard who was shot by robbers in Sattokatla two weeks ago has died at the Jinnah hospital. Amanat Ali, 55, worked as a security guard at the WAPDA Housing Society, police said. He had suffered bullet wounds during a robbery attempt and was admitted to Jinnah hospital. The victim remained under treatment for two weeks but succumbed to his injuries on Friday. Police have shifted the body to a morgue and registered a murder case against unidentified suspects.
