Health scare: Anti-dengue measures reviewed

Gondal said officials to ensure that anti-dengue regulations are fully implemented and stern action is taken

RAWALPINDI: The prevailing weather is suitable for the breeding of dengue larvae, which is being found in large numbers during indoor and outdoor surveillance, said Rawalpindi District Coordination Officer (DCO) Talat Mehmood Gondal on Monday. Chairing a meeting to review the anti-dengue campaign, he directed officials of the Health Department to create awareness among the people to keep their houses clean and leave no place with stagnant water. He ordered officials to ensure that anti-dengue regulations are fully implemented and stern action is taken against those failing to comply with the law.
