The accessory "is now available in limited quantities around the world” according to Niantic's website. The bracelet-like device was first set to be launched in late July, but Niantic had delayed it to September.
Plus employs Bluetooth to pair with a user’s phone. Users receive alerts as the device lights up and vibrates to indicate a nearby PokeStop or Pokémon. It can also track the distance walked for Pokémon Eggs.
