The two became victims of human trafficking when they were kidnapped and sold to a party in Balochistan in July 2015.
“I wish no parent has to suffer through what my wife and I did for more than a year,” said Noor Nabi, their father, while speaking at a press conference organised by Madadgar National Helpline (MNH) at Court View Apartments, Opposite Sindh Assembly, on Monday.
He mentioned that the police did not even register an FIR when their daughters went missing last year.
The tale of the minor girls is one of surviving deceit, mercilessness, greed, inhumanity, degradation and modern day slavery, remarked MNH founder Zia Ahmed Awan.
The accused, identified as Shafi, son of Noor Muhammad, and Inayat, son of Mir Gul, said Awan, allegedly kidnapped the girls and sold them for Rs300,000 in Dera Murad Jamali, Balochistan.
The girls have been rescued and reunited with their family by the collective efforts of Madadgar that provided them with legal aid, regular counseling and coordinated with all the institution. However, the organisation witnessed obstacles due to the absence of inter-provincial coordination mechanisms among government departments, added Awan.
He also demanded a thorough investigation into the case and urged the need to immediately arrest the two suspects.
He said that the MNH will also file petition in the Supreme Court regarding lack of a system to address the issue of human trafficking.
