Pakistan played only one T20I in their tour of England and they made sure their trip ended on a high note with a nine-wicket victory against the hosts at Old Trafford.

After a display of controlled bowling, Pakistani openers Sharjeel Khan and Khalid Latif came out all guns blazing against the English pace attack in their chase of a 136-run target.

Pakistan, led by wicketkeeper-batsman Sarfraz Ahmed, defeated Eoin Morgan’s men with 31 balls remaining and the expat fans were ecstatic watching their home side bag a comprehensive victory.

However, one of the English fans present in the crowd was more than happy to see the visitors play better cricket than the hosts.

A video of the fan is making rounds on the social media where he is first given a Pakistani flag. The fan then went on to call aloud Pakistan's name which was aptly followed by ‘Zindabad’ (long live) chants by the expat fans.

Pakistan drew the four-Test series against England during their tour. Later, they were outclassed 4-1 by England in the ODIs.

The team will now host World T20 champions West Indies in the UAE for three T20Is, followed by as many ODIs. The series will end with three Tests.

Shameless | 8 years ago | Reply @MA: Idiot why would you raise another flag to show love for the cricketer? If you are a fan of cricketer be a fan of just that cricketer NOT the country. next time DON't compare apple with oranges.
BA | 8 years ago | Reply You also do the same. It's not that India garlands that person and pins a medal on his chest. Pot calling the kettle black.@MA:
